I currently serve as a Volunteer Co-Leader of an effort to improve the Child Custody/Parenting Time & Child Support Laws in Minnesota.
Currently serving on the Minnesota Child Focused Parenting Time Guide Group which is doing an update to the booklet. This effort is overseen by the Minnesota State Court Administrator’s Office and is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
Appointed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Commissioner to serve on the Minnesota Child Support Work Group.
Participated in the Minnesota Child Custody Dialogue Group which successfully initiated and helped passed into law 18 new Child Custody/Parenting Time & Child Support Statutes over a 2 year period.
Served as a Citizen lobbyist in helping draft and pass a new Child Custody/Parenting Time bill through the Minnesota House & Senate in 2012.
