Arrears-Only Cases
• When you receive a request to register another state’s order for enforcement of arrears-only, will your jurisdiction accept such a request if you did not previously have the case open when there was current support involved?
• Will your state accept an arrears-only case when the order was issued by your state, such as a direct pay order with no previous IV-D involvement?
• Does your jurisdiction do anything different regarding enforcement when it is an arrears-only case, as opposed to a current support case?
